영생

Hey

This week not much has happened. Just a lot of proselyting and studying Korean like crazy. This week I have thought about honest effort in the church and also increasing faith. This week during my personal study I noticed the past week my faith has been lacking and I haven't been studying PMG and the scriptures very good (as in I wasn't applying or taking anything from it). So when I realized this I felt like I got wrecked by a train.
My proselyting was not good because I haven't been focused on the lessons or the gospel. So I thought of a saying I heard in the MTC in a talk or something but it said, "If you're faith is not increasing then it is decreasing." This always fires me up and makes me think "is what you are doing right now increasing you're faith or decreasing it?" "Are you wasting the lords time?" Keeping those questions in my mind keep me on the right track. So I got a question for you now. Are you increasing you're faith right now or is you're faith decreasing?

Love you all.

The Koreans in my zone playing yuki oh. they love yuki oh.

예수님

Hi

My first week was pretty good here. Did a lot of proselyting because this area doesn't have any investigators.

A little a bout my companion. My companions name is 김준범 (kim june bum). He lives by Daejun. He has been out for a year now. He doesn't speak any English. So sometimes its hard to communicate haha.
I sleep on the bed my companion sleeps on the floor
(don't worry koreans prefer sleeping on the floor).
Church yesterday was an eye opener for me. We had 8 members attend church yesterday. 2 men do all the callings. The branch president (bishop) was called here from a different area. He lives an hour away. Same with the 2nd councilor who does everything.  He is 25. He is amazing he wants to help this area and branch out really bad. But anyway attending church yesterday with those 8 members made me realize how much faith they have. The church used to have a lot of members. The church is huge. A lot of the less actives don't come because there aren't enough people which frustrates me because we don't got to church for a social aspect. We go to partake the sacrament and grow and learn how to better follow Jesus Christ. These members have helped my testimony grow already. I am so happy to serve these 8 members.

하이!

Hi

This week has been a good one! Transfer ended I am now my new area inside the Busan. My area is called Deshin. A lot different from my last area haha. A lot bigger. This area has a famous shopping area and also the church was the first one built here in Korea. The bad thing is there are only 5 members that attend this branch. So I have a lot of work to do. I am also with my first Korean companion! I am super excited for this transfer.
This one of the kids getting baptized.
I am super sad to leave my training area because we just gave these two kids that are brothers a baptismal date for the 22nd. We got their parents permission and they have been attending church.

Happy New Year!

Hi!

Hope you all had a great holiday season!

New Years was good here. Got some good proselyting done. Also I am now 21 years old (my real age is 19) in Korean age! Every new year everyone gets one year older. Also when you are born you 1 year old. Kinda weird right?

So since the sisters have been taken out of this area we have taken over their investigators. So they have been teaching these 2 boys and they do whats called a 30/30 program where we teach them English for 30 minutes and then for the next 30 minutes we talk about the church. Since we have taken over we have taught them almost all the lessons. And they have been reading this book called Book of Mormon stories for younger kids. Next week they should be coming to church. Next time we meet with them we are going to give them a baptismal invite and baptismal date. Teaching these boys has reminded me a lot of primary.
