Hey!

This last week started off really slow but by the week it got busy. We met with Brother Park again on Saturday and talked about the Book of Mormon and also prophets. During the Lesson before we could even invite him he asked if he could come to church! So He came yesterday! It was sick. So this week we are planning to give him a baptismal date. Also we met with brother Choi our other investigator. It went really well we taught the third lesson and invited him to be baptized! He will get baptized in February. Things are going really well! Also we are starting a new english class where we read the BOM in english for the 30 mins then free talk for the next 30 mins. They both suggested this so it will be super awesome! We plan inviting some members too.

Transfer 13l16?

Hello!

So today is transfer day! My companion got transferred and I am serving with another missionary that came out with him! All I know is that his name is Elder Deacon. I am pretty excited though things are getting really good here!

The last week of the transfer was full of mix emotions. We started it out pretty good last P-day we were able to help and part member family move with the bishop. It was great the family is going to invite us to dinner! Then Tuesday and Wednesday night were super sick! We met with Hawksu Park! Tuesday night he fed us so much expensive raw fish and we talked about the BOM he read some of it and says he likes it and wants to read it all. The next night (Wednesday) we met him at the church and he told us that we should change english class to a BOM reading class instead of a free talking class. He is super awesome and prepared! Then Thursday and Friday we did have like three appointments each day but all got punked... So we street contacted all day and got a few contacts that we will be able to contact this week. But then at english class Saturday a new guy came and was really interested in the church and how he can strengthen his faith so we asked if we could meet him Sunday. The lesson was amazing! We taught him the first lesson and when we taught him about the BOM and Joseph Smith he was amazed. He said that he wants to do a scripture study class like Hawksu Park! So we plan on making a BOM reading class and inviting them and a few members! It was amazing to see that God does have prepared children and I am grateful to be a part of these men lives. They are amazing and so humble! I am learning a lot just being with them. I am always so grateful to be here serving the Lord and these people!

Hello everyone!

So this week was pretty good but also freezing! We got two new investigators this week! One of them we found actually a month ago (his name is Hawksu Park) when we talked to him on the street and he really wanted to attend our english class so we got his number and a little bit later he came! At the end of class he asked if there was other activities we do at the church like worship service and bible study. I was so pumped and told him when sacrament starts and told him we can start the 30l30 program. He was down and wants to meet three times a week so that is super sick! My first appointment with him was with the zone leader who came here for exchanges. I found out this guy is super rich! He is the boss of a trade company. He took us out to eat some super expensive meat. It went really well then we met with him again the next night and gave him the BOM. He said he is excited to read and learn the gospel and English. He is a super dope guy. Really humble! Then the other one we met is a really humble guy too. He came to the church to meet with us. He told us he tried church out before but it was hard for him to believe in God and Jesus Christ. But he says he feels like there is something missing in his life so he wants to try again. We invited him to church this Sunday and he accepted. He also says he wants to do his best to learn and try to be like Jesus. I love this work and I am grateful to be sharing the gospel with these people!

Howdy every one!

This week was good we were able to do a decent amount of member work! We met with a guy named Kim Youngho and he is awesome. He loves missionaries and missionary work! We went to his house on Friday to have dinner and also give a spiritual message and when we came there was some other guy there! Kim Youngho brought a friend also! It was really awesome at the end Kim Youngho asked if we had BOM to give and of course we did! Then he asked me to bare my testimony of the BOM. It was such a great opportunity. The friend actually wants to attend our church but he has to serve his two years as a soldier. So he can't come to church for two years but he said he will read the BOM while serving! It is so great working with members we haven't been able to past 3 weeks so its a really great change! I love these members and I am so grateful I have the opportunity to serve them!

Happy New Years!

Super crazy its 2018!!! Time flies!
This week was pretty dang good the weekend was crazy we basically spent the whole day at the church because all of our appointments were there. One of the investigators is a formal investigator from Vietnam who had a baptismal date but got so busy with finals. Now that school out he was able to meet and we were able to see where he was at with things. He is doing good still pray and reading the BOM just needs to come out to church. He works 8pm-2am and then since its so late all the public transportation isn't working. So he sits at a cafe until 6 and takes the subway at 6am then goes and sleeps. He does that everyday so its hard for him to come to church but he committed and said he will find a way to get home right after work. It was awesome seeing him show his faith and desire.
