침례! Baptism!

Yesterday our investigator Kim Jaemin got baptised! It was such an amazing exprience! He is super prepared. He is already excited for callings and the priesthood. He is super good at english so after he was baptized he said, "I never felt this way in the catholic church."

 I am so gratful I can see the changes people make as they execpt our invitations and keep commitments. I am so grateful for the attonement of Jesus Christ and that through him I can repent and change and always strive to become something better than myself. I know that baptism is the first step in a long journey to enternal happiness. I know that our church is the true restored church of Jesus Christ and that through the restored preisthood that Jesus Christ used we can make covenants with God and have so much joy in this life and the life to come.

Happy Easter!

This week was good. We had two investigators come to church yesterday. One has a baptismal date for this coming Sunday! Also at church I talked about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in sacrament meeting. I am so grateful that we will all be resurrected. I am so grateful for what Jesus Christ has done for me. I am so grateful that I can live the my family for eternity. I love Easter. I can feel Christ light and peace. I hope all of you have got the chance to see the Prince of Peace video if not you can find it at the church site.

I just want to share a quote from Joseph Smith "The standard of truth has been erected! No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing. Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, and armies may assemble, column may defame. But the truth of God will go forth nobly, boldly and independent til it has penetrated continent, visited every climb, swept every country, and sounded in every hear until the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the great Jehovah shall say, "The work is done."

New Transfer

​​​​Hey!

This week has been awesome! Flew by super fast. We met with two of our investigators and had lessons with them. Then we also had a picnic on Saturday with the ward and a investigator came to that too. Then at General Conference 3 of our investigators came. 2 of them have baptismal dates. I am super excited to see the changes they make in their life by coming closer to Christ.

Conference was great. I just want to share what I learned from one of the talks. It was the one that was about a guy who wanted to marry this girl but she said she will only marry in the temple so the guy started taking the lessons from the missionaries. He was kinda fighting them and was trying to prove them wrong but as he became more humble he was able to learn more and apply the gospel to his life. He got baptized and married that girl and now he is a part of the area of 70. It made me think about how if I want to learn I have to be humble enough to listen and think about it instead of thinking "I already know. I don't need to hear this."

Transfers

Hello! Today is kind of crazy I just got transfered to Deagu (대구) Zone in little town called Gyoun San (경산). I am still in Busan right now so I haven't met my new companion yet. All I know is he is Mong. Gyoung San is the hottest place in Korea (or so I've heard). I am super sad to leave Deashin though. Things just started to happen. Theres a guy thats going to be baptized on the 16th. I don't know why I always get moved right when the good stuff starts to happen but I know if I just keep going with a good atitude I can see miracles. I was thinking kind selfishly the other night when I found out I was moving. I was thinking "Why can't I ever harvest" D&C does not say "Behold the field is brown ready to water" Its says its white and ready for harvest so why can't I be the harvester? I said that and a Sister in my area told me how I'm like John the baptist. I was like how he baptizes people. She said no because you are preparing the way for the lord. That was Johns purpose. He set the path strait. So I humbled myself and changed how I look at it.
