아이 러뷰

Aye!

This week went by really really fast. We had exchanges with the District leader. I went with an Elder named Elder Schupp! He is from Germany and he is super good at english and korean. I learned so much from him! I learned how to be a more a sincere and honest teacher/missionary. I have seen a huge difference now when I show people a short scripture on how I came to know something is true I feel the spirit and they feel the spirit more. So much better than simply saying "I know the BOM is true."I know that Joesph Smith is a true prophet and that he translated this book." And other simple missionaries phrases. I feel like those are good things to say but they don't have much sincerity and power behind it and it wont help convert them or feel the spirit. So that is something I have been trying really hard lately and it has made the work so much better! Sorry I don't have tons of time this week to email but I love you all and have a great week!

Hey everyone!

This week was pretty interesting! To start off there were 7 earthquakes last week! The first was the biggest (5.5). There is supposedly going to be a bigger one this month.

Anyway... So yesterday after church a old investigator randomly wanted to meet so he came to the church right after the branch had lunch together. When he met with the missionaries over a year ago he committed to baptism but moved to Thailand. Now he is back. I think has been humbled a lot he has a ear disease and I can tell he needs the gospel so much. We will meet with him next week on Saturday and teach him the 3rd lesson (The Gospel of Jesus Christ).

I will send more in another email.

Dear Parents of Korea Busan Missionaries,

Dear Parents of Korea Busan Missionaries,

Yesterday, Wednesday 15 November, the southeast area of South Korea experienced a 5.4 magnitude earthquake and several aftershocks.  The quake was centered near the city of Pohang, 100km (62 miles) north of Busan, but was felt in the surrounding areas.  All missionaries in the mission are safe and accounted for.  Please know that the safety of our missionaries is our primary concern.  We are able to continue our missionary labors without disruption or hindrance. Thank you for sending your sons and daughters to Korea, and for your faith and trust that the Lord is looking after them while they serve Him.

Gratefully,

침례

Hey yall!

So this week was another crazy week! Slava is doing really good. Last week it turned out that the company that was going to pick him up Monday morning punked him so he still ended up not getting that job. So he called me and asked if i could come by Tuesday to help him find a different job. So during personal study I was preparing for him and I felt like nothing that I had prepared for him was what he needed to hear. So I knelt down and prayed for him and asked for some inspiration so I can try share something with him that will bring him closer to Christ. Also I prayed for him to find a job so he could provide for his family. During that prayer we got a call. It was a unknown number. I answered it and it was a guy asking me if I was still looking for a job. I told my Uzbekistan friend was and that man wanted to meet right then so we ran to slava's house and met the man went to the companies office and we helped out slava with the paper work. He will keep the job and it has really good hours. He gets weekends off. He came to church again. He told his home-teaching comp that he is ready to go. It has been so awesome seeing him come closer God and also so great seeing how much God loves and will provide for his children.

Also Yesterday a little boy from a part member family got baptized! It was so awesome! His dad (not a member.. yet) attended church and his baptism! I know he felt the spirit! We are working on him now. Also our other investigator Sobyounghan also attended the baptism! He also attended church for the 6th time yesterday! I am super excited for him!

트라이닝

Howdy!

So this was the first week of training and it was pretty awesome! Got my trainy, Elder Lee! He his from Highlan UT! He has a huge desire to do the work so I am super excited!

So this week we met with Slava from Uzbekistan a recent convert/less active. He called us randomly asking for our help to find a job.(He doesn't speak Korean) He hasn't had a job for a month know so his family has been struggling (he has a wife and a 2 year old daughter). So he had a sheet of companies that I needed to call. So before we started calling I asked him if we could start with a prayer to get help from God. I ended up finding him a job and after that Elder Lee and shared some scriptures with him 3 Nephi 13:31-34 and 14:7-11. he comitted to come to church and he came yesterday! I know that as we seek the kingdom of God he will provide. I know  that as I called those companies I was blessed with the Gift of Tongues. I love this work and God!

This transfer is going to be great so expect some miracles.
