Howdy!

Wow its my last email! Its crazy how fast time flies! For this last email Ill just share my testimony and things I learned on my mission.
I am so greatful for my mission it has helped me change in every spiritual aspect because I was not very spiritual at all before the mish. I have learned how to love and serve others like the savior would. As I study and pray I feel so much closer the God which is the fuel that drives me to work hard for God. I understand his work and how important it is. I may be done in Korea as full time missionary but I won't ever stop doing missionary work because the Savior has given me so much!

기적

This week was a really good one!  We ate with Nogyoung last week again and he brought his little girl! Shes 9 years old and she is soooo cute! Then after eating he dropped her off at home and we talked about religion and it went pretty well he had questions about the second coming so that was a little hard but it turned out well. We also found a guy yesterday. We were walking down a street and we suddenly hear a middle aged man yell "HELLO" from his window on the second floor of an apartment and he waved us over to come inside. We went in and he was having dinner and started feeding us too. He told us that a week ago we said hello while he was riding his bike and could talk to us so this time he really wanted to talk to us. He said that he thinks that God wants us to meet and it is not coincidence it was destiny. We had a good dinner with him and got his number. He wants to meet again next week.

Love yall!

전도

Hi

This past week was a pretty good one! We got a new gator named Nogyung. We found him proselyting in park. He actually heard us talking behind him and he turned around and started talking to us. He told us he admires us and that he has always wanted to talk to us. He says hes interested in our church and also he would like to learn English. So we got his number and he told us he would call us later and we could go eat together. So he called us like two days later and we met and at some fried chicken. He asked us tons of questions about what we do as missionaries and he was so impressed. He also heard a lot of good things about our church. And also he heard about how we used be Polygamist and wondered if we still were and told him no and he was like yeah I think that God probably wouldn't want that. He also ordered a beer and he was really curious about why we don't drink so we explained the Word of Wisdom and that we try to stay free from addictions. He really liked that. He told us he has so much more temptation when he drinks and even though its not a commandment in his church he thinks that God wouldn't want him to drink. He told he wants to stop. We then told him that we could teach him more and can lead him and his family to more happiness. Next time we are going to meet with him and his wife so that will be awesome!

Love yall!

안녕

Hi

This week was filled with sweat. We street proselyted for about 8 hours almost everyday last week. It was sooo hot but it was worth it we gave out a lot of BOMs and also got some numbers and were able to make some appointments this week so we will see how that goes.

I don't have much else to share so I guess I'll share what I shared for my last testimony at my last zone conference. All the returning missionaries were asked to give their testimony. Mine was pretty short and simple. I shared a experience from football which I think a lot of you know. There was a football coach that everyone loved and was so used to on the team. He loved them and really wanted to have success. One year the football coach changed to a different one. Many of the football players were so mad and even didn't want to play football anymore. My thoughts and also my parents thoughts were you should play football because you love the sport not because you like the coach. I tied this in with missionary work and said that wether its your comp or mission president you should just work hard because you love God.

Thats its for this week love yall!

Wasup

Hey!
First week with Elder Haskell was awesome! We visited a lot of less actives and did a lot street proselyting. We found a lot of potential investigator so hopefully they can become investigators in the coming week or so. I just want to express my gratitude for this opportunity to serve a mission. It has changed me and shaped into a little bit of what God wants me to be. And I am so grateful for that. God is so merciful and will teach you anything as long as you got the desire and trust in God. I love God and because I love him I love this work!

Love yall!

Howdy Howdy

Hey

This week was pretty good really rainy so it was hard to talk to anyone on the street. But yesterday I was able to meet with some members. We had dinner at their house. They are like a Korean version of my family! 3 girls 1 boys. The boy is a senior and doesn't really going to church and doesn't really talk to anyone especially the missionaries. He really opened up to me for some reason. he asked if I always liked church and I told him how I dreaded going to church but how my older sister who came home from a mission was a big example and showed me that missions are really good (his sister just got home from her mission too). Then I told him how fun missions are and how its changed my life. His parents really want him to go on mission and it was great helping him out. He reminds me so much of me when I was a senior. I am truly grateful for the church I wished I could of been more diligent earlier. But I am here now and its a blessing! I love yall!

Hey.

This week was pretty busy. Went on the exchanges with the zone leaders which went well got to exchange with Elder Stewart we were in the MTC together so its pretty cool to see how we have grown since. Also had district meeting and it was really good. I did a activity where we had a discussion on prayer and how to get answers. The main point that we got down to is that we have think of God's will. He has his timing and he has a plan for us that we really don't know so we have to put our trust in him and think of what his will is for us. Also another thing we talked about is how prayer is literally us talking with him. Sometimes I forget that. I just wanted to share that with yall. I love you all and hope you have a great week!

Howdy!

Howdy!

Today is transfer day! Elder Seyfried left and now I am with Elder Gil (native). This transfer should be fun! I am excited to see what we can do! Since I only got one more transfer after this one I will probably be with him till I go home.

We have been doing lots of service lately and its going super good. We are cleaning a national park that has a famous Buddhist temple in it and get to talk to a lot of people. I love service! It makes me feel good and I can show not only my love but I can show Christ's love. Mosiah 2:17 17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the serviceof your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

Have a good week!

Some are a hike with members, zone P-day, and cherry blossoms.

봄 이다!

Hi!
 Rollerskating
This week was great! Another busy one. We met our Iran investigator Hasan yesterday! It was pretty good. We taught him some Korean and English and then we talked about Latter Day Prophets and the BOM. About a week ago we asked him to read 2 Nephi 31(the gospel of Jesus Christ) and he read it and had a lot of questions about baptism. He was originally Muslim but the leadership was so corrupt he fell away and started investigating Christian churches. I told he feels so good when he reads the BOM. I agree with him I feel soo much when I read the word of God! I am grateful for all the scriptures he has given us. I would not know the Gods plan for us and I would be lost with out the guidance of the scriptures. I am also grateful for living prophets that guide us today. I cant wait to see conference this week!

I love you all!

Hey~

Hello everyone! This week was a good one! We were really busy. I went on exchanges with Elder Fox you probably saw him on facebook in the service picture. The exchange went really well we met with a potential investigator and his wife they are about 70 years old. Super cute old couple. We first met them a few weeks ago while waiting for a train. He came up to us and asked us if we were missionaries. We introduced him to the BOM and asked if we could visit him later. He gave us his adress and phone number and we were finally able to meet him and his wife. The appointment really well. Mostly just explaining what we are doing and that we are teaching 5 lessons and they said we can teach them the lessons. They also said they want to introduce us to their son! So that will be sick! Elder Seyfried and I are doing good. Things are really turning around right now! Hope yall have a great week!

Roller Skating with Elder Winter one of my old comps!
Hey! This week was super busy! I did some exchanges with another team in the district and also another one with the zone leaders. They were both good! The zone leader I exchanged with was Elder Stewart. We were in the MTC and came to korea together so it was fun seeing each other and seeing how much we have changed. I went to his area which has a huge american military base so we played soccer with a bunch of random college guys and Elder Stewarts investigator from the military base. It was good I am really out of shape haha. Elder Seyfried and I have been waking up at 6 everyday to lift and run. Got be doing that sext six! haha.

A elder in my district let me borrow a book called Believing Christ. It has really changed me and has helped me understand the atonement so much more! I still have a lot more to learn about the atonement though. But I wanted to share something from the book. It talks about the authors daughter. His 7 year old daughter wants a bike so he says ok save up coins and we will go get you a bike. So she starts working really hard around the house doing chores. A few weeks later he hears her putting coins in a jar. She says, "Daddy I am ready to go get my bike!" They got to some bike stores and she sees the one she has been dreaming for. She hops on it super excited with a huge smile on her face. then she looks at the price tag and her smile fades. She starts crying saying, "Daddy I will never get a bike!" He hugs her and asks her how much money she has she pulls the change from her pocket and it counted up to be 74 cents. The bike was over $150. He told her, "Let's make a deal, you give me all your money, hug and a big kiss and I will pay for the rest."

This story really touched me. This is the same love and mercy Christ has for us. This showed me how merciful Christ. That if we give our all he will pay the rest. We can't do it our selves we can not be perfect through our own efforts only through Christ grace and mercy can we be perfected.

I love you all! I highly recommend this book!
