예수 그리스도

Hello!

This week was pretty good. Met a lot of new people this week. So last Tuesday we played basketball with the one kid we found last week and gave him a Book of Mormon and taught him about it. Tomorrow we plan on meeting with him again and talk about the BOM. Last Wednesday when we were on Namhae Island we helped a members dad move in. He is not a member and we might start meeting with him. He goes to a Presbyterian church and has really strong faith in Christ. That same day we said hello in korean to a man who we thought was Korean but turns out he was Chinese and speaks pretty good english. Since he is from China he doesn't have any religious background but wants is very curious about a God like Heavenly Father or Buddha. We got chinese pamphlets and we are going to meet with him tomorrow. He is only going to be here for a month but he wants to meet a lot! We really want to share the Book of Mormon with all these new people.

I know that the BOM can help them so much. Even if they do have faith and already believe in the bible. I learn about a lot about Jesus Christ when ever I read the New Testament but when I read the BOM I feel like I come to know who Jesus Christ is. I know he is our Savior and our friend when every we feel alone or frustrated through him we can feel peace and love. I am so grateful for his sacrifice and because he died for us we can live with our families together forever.

Last time seeing Elder Long he goes home next week!

Hey!

So this week was really good. We found 2 new investigators this week. 1 is a 64 year old man. He is really interesting. One morning we were proselyting and we see him across the street and he starts waving at us and jay walks across the street and was like, (translated to English) "Hey can I go buy you bread?" so we walked and talked with this guy for 15 minutes til we got to a bakery were he bought us tons of bread. He told us he met with the missionaries a while ago and talked about the BOM. So we ended up getting his number and met with him again a few days later we met with him in a cafe and talked about the three lessons we teach (The Restoration, Plan of Salvation, The Gospel of Jesus Christ) he took all three pamphlets home with him and read them.
Our Super awesome moms of the Branch!
Then the next time we met he took us to a restaurant in his car and almost got in a wreck 5 times. When he pulled out of the parking lot he hit a car. So we plan on just meeting him in the church for now on haha. Our other investigator we found was through Basketball proselyting. He is 18 and goes to 2 churches. He wants to find what church is true. We plan on teaching him the Restoration this week! I am so grateful that Jesus Christ's Gospel has been completely restored here on earth. I would be so lost and unhappy without it. I have found so much joy as I learn more and more about the gospel and feel even more joy when I share it with others. I know that every person on this earth can find joy and peace through Jesus Christ's Gospel.

Hope you all have a great week!

hey!

A pretty normal week this week. Went on exchanges with the district leader. So that was good.

On exchanges we talked about love and loving the people we are serving. Sometimes when I feel frustrated because no one will listen to the our message I feel like are start losing love for others. I start thinking about myself. I told my district leader this and that I want to stop that and he told me that as I think about others and Jesus Christ I can love others more. I also feel like I am more happy while doing missionary work when I love others and think about others.

love you all! Have a good week!

It has been raining really hard lately. One night there was a lightning storm. We woke up at 3 am from super loud thunder the lightning was super close to our house it shook everything! The next day we got drenched while proselyting there was absolutely no one outside.

안녕하세요!

Hello from Korea!

This week was a great one! Elder Davis and I had a lot of fun proselyting and hitch hiking this week. Had some good and weird things happen last week. First we had an appointment with high school kid on Namhae Island and it went really good. It was our first time meeting with him so we were just getting to know his religious background and he didn't believe in anything. How ever is dad is Buddhist and his dad doesn't like Christianity. As we taught him how to pray he said that if there is a God then he is scared because he a lot of sins. We told him that he can be forgiven through the Atonement of Christ. He was comforted by that and it was really cool to see that. We gave him Plan of Salvation pamphlet. Followed up and he read it and we are going to meet him again this week.

A super weird story that happen this week.
We were proselyting on the street and this guy waves us over and asks us if we wanted go drink with him. We told him we don't drink, but he kept asking us then finally he just asked if we just drank pepsi would that be ok. We said yea and he called over a taxi and we drove with him. Then we got out he took us into a super sketchy beer house. We went into this room were there were a bunch of drunk guys eating a bunch of raw fish and chicken feet in this tiny room. There was a guy that we started talking about who we were and he had a lot of interest luckily he wasn't very drunk. He has been keeping contact with us ever since. Super funny experience.
