Hey~

Hello everyone! This week was a good one! We were really busy. I went on exchanges with Elder Fox you probably saw him on facebook in the service picture. The exchange went really well we met with a potential investigator and his wife they are about 70 years old. Super cute old couple. We first met them a few weeks ago while waiting for a train. He came up to us and asked us if we were missionaries. We introduced him to the BOM and asked if we could visit him later. He gave us his adress and phone number and we were finally able to meet him and his wife. The appointment really well. Mostly just explaining what we are doing and that we are teaching 5 lessons and they said we can teach them the lessons. They also said they want to introduce us to their son! So that will be sick! Elder Seyfried and I are doing good. Things are really turning around right now! Hope yall have a great week!

Roller Skating with Elder Winter one of my old comps!
Hey! This week was super busy! I did some exchanges with another team in the district and also another one with the zone leaders. They were both good! The zone leader I exchanged with was Elder Stewart. We were in the MTC and came to korea together so it was fun seeing each other and seeing how much we have changed. I went to his area which has a huge american military base so we played soccer with a bunch of random college guys and Elder Stewarts investigator from the military base. It was good I am really out of shape haha. Elder Seyfried and I have been waking up at 6 everyday to lift and run. Got be doing that sext six! haha.

A elder in my district let me borrow a book called Believing Christ. It has really changed me and has helped me understand the atonement so much more! I still have a lot more to learn about the atonement though. But I wanted to share something from the book. It talks about the authors daughter. His 7 year old daughter wants a bike so he says ok save up coins and we will go get you a bike. So she starts working really hard around the house doing chores. A few weeks later he hears her putting coins in a jar. She says, "Daddy I am ready to go get my bike!" They got to some bike stores and she sees the one she has been dreaming for. She hops on it super excited with a huge smile on her face. then she looks at the price tag and her smile fades. She starts crying saying, "Daddy I will never get a bike!" He hugs her and asks her how much money she has she pulls the change from her pocket and it counted up to be 74 cents. The bike was over $150. He told her, "Let's make a deal, you give me all your money, hug and a big kiss and I will pay for the rest."

This story really touched me. This is the same love and mercy Christ has for us. This showed me how merciful Christ. That if we give our all he will pay the rest. We can't do it our selves we can not be perfect through our own efforts only through Christ grace and mercy can we be perfected.

I love you all! I highly recommend this book!

안녕~

The Vietnamese members and Sister Akakki who is transferred with me
to Gimcheon so we will be serving 5 together!
This week was super crazy! Had so many meetings to go to... But Also I was able to meet most of the branch members early! They did a service project by a river where there is a path for people to run and walk and cleaned up trash. Then we had lunch at the Branch Presidents house then after that he needed help moving so we did that the rest of the day. Now we are super tight. Then we had district meeting. It was pretty good. I had to give out assignments and stuff so that was new and interesting. I also gave a talk to pump up the district and talked about the worth of souls. I talked about how we need to work our hardest for God if we truly love him we need to love all of his children. Then I gave metaphor and told everyone that
Elder Seyfried!
they are like a fire. Some of us are big some of us are small and well some of us got our fire put out. So we need to ignite our fire with flint (Scriptures) and stone (Prayer). We always need to build up our fire. If we are not building our fire it  gets smaller. If is small it wont be a light to anyone. We need to be a big fire... We need to be a bonfire! Most of the missionaries are old missionaries with only a few transfers left so I told them we need to finish strong. I told them I am going to dump gasoline on my fire. I am so grateful for the scriptures they help understand how important this work is. I love this work and I love these people!

My best friend Youngho and his baby!

Transfer

Things are good I just got transfer to a super small town called Gimcheon with a Elder Seyfried. I was also called as District leader. This is most likely my last area. I think it needs a lot of help so I am excited to try my hardest. It is weird that I only got 2 transfers left but if feels so unrealistic that it feels like it wont ever happen so I actually am able to focus on missionary work.

I love you Dad!
