안양하새요!-Week7

This week was good. Elder Bednar came to Korea! That was awesome he just did a question and answer with our whole mission and it was good.

So I just want to explain a little bit about Korea's religions. There are so many christian churches here! You thought that road in Page called church road was crazy then Korea would blow you're mind! Every road is church road haha. So because of all these churches it gives our church a bad rep so people don't want to talk to us because some of the churches are... lets just say really interesting. Some people also thing our church is a cult here because we have our own book. So rumors kill.

Another thing I learned,I have been called to serve in a place were my language ability is limited. If I was speaking english then I would be way to bold and intense with people and scare them a way.

So I found this really cool kid on a bus coming to the church last week. we talked the whole way their. And when we both got of on the same stop right next to our church and his house was right next to the church. We called him on Saturday and met him that night and played some ping pong with him and talked to him and got to know him. Hes 18 and his mom is some sort of chirstan and his dad is budist. He can't really chose from budism or Christianity because is the grandma on his dads side will hate him. He doesn't want to believe in budism because he just doesn't think its true. So we taught him a little about the Book of Mormon. He says he really want to be a part of our church. So we invited him to come to church. So the next day (Sunday) he came over but he told us he can come in because his family doesn't want him coming to our church. I was so excited for him and everything because I found him and got a meeting with him all by myself.

Yesterday we had 2 investigators at church so that was awesome. We are getting baptismal dates for both of them this transfer so that will be sick.
